Well, most of you didn’t come to the the Taitung Music Festival… Whiz came, so he knows how good it was. The Saturday night show was amazing. Machaco, Papa U-Gee, Stoned Rockerz, Oki, and Red-I and The Riddim Outlawz played some of the best music I’ve heard since I started shooting shows. Next year I will shout louder and YOU WILL COME TO THE TAITUNG MUSIC FESTIVAL 2009!!!

嗨，我是傑生。 我已經在台灣衝浪超過 10 年，但是因為我說中文的時候跟白癡一樣, 除非我說英文.說起來也真難為情，但我仍在學習。
大約六,七年前，我開始拍攝衝浪，而且我最後拍攝了約二十幾部左右的衝浪音樂影片，衝浪搞笑紀錄片，和一些滑板。
去年，我的Sony PD-170(錄影機)被偷了。 那阻礙了我拍攝衝浪影片半年之久。
在那期間我必須做很多工作去賺得生活費以便購買新的攝影器材，而因此開始對地下樂團感興趣。 在那一年中我聽了大約 500首地下樂團的音樂，而且發掘其中約三十個我真的很喜歡的樂團。

最近，我大約一個星期會拍攝一場表演。 我買了二台相機、Sony V1U 和 Sony HC9，而且在休息一年之後，我又返回拍攝衝浪影片，而且將繼續証明我的新歡； 地下音樂。

我的觀點？

Hi, my name is Jason. I’ve been surfing in Taiwan for more than 10 years, but my Chinese sucks so I sound like an idiot unless I’m speaking English. Sorry about that, I am studying. About six or seven years ago I started filming surfing and I ended up shooting a dozen or so surfing music videos, a surfing mockumentary, and some skateboarding. Last year my Sony PD-170 (video camera) was stolen.

That stopped me from shooting surfing for half a year.
During that time I had to work a lot to earn more money for new video equipment and became interested in the underground music scene.
In one year I listened to the music of about 500 local bands and found a few dozen that I really like. These days I usually shoot one show a week. I bought two more cameras, a Sony V1U and a Sony HC9 and after a year break, I’m back into filming surfing again and will continue to document my new love; underground music. What’s my point? AXS asked me if I would introduce my favorite bands, and I said yes. Stay tuned, I think you’re going to be surprised how good this music is and of course I’ll share my old surfing videos as well as any new ones I make.
